My Story

I am an experienced web designer with a hunger and passion to constantly improve. I love making beautiful designs and find inspiration in modern architecture. In my free time I’m a total gear head; wrenching on my 90’s project car and taking it to shows.

I can see the potential in any project, whether it’s a classic car or your marketing.

My Beginnings

Artist From Birth

I have been making art since my earliest memory. My grandmother was a wonderful painter with many works in galleries. I learned to appreciate art through her. I didn’t know it at the age of four, but that would flourish into a lifetime dedication to making everything I can beautiful as she made the world appear on her canvas.

While I didn’t train in the same field of art as her, that being oil paint, I still had her creative passion passed down to me. Every chance I got in school to be in a club, take an elective, or lead a creative project, I took. I have always known what I wanted. In high school, I began taking college courses in graphic design, to jump-start my higher education, along with making it into AP Studio Art, the most prestigious art class you could achieve in my high school which required a passable portfolio to get in, and I was one of only thirteen who passed. I was incredibly honored to have made it in and I would go on to be the only one of the thirteen to study digital art. I didn’t let the fact that I was alone in my study stop me. I  knew what I wanted and worked hard to continue learning everything I could. I was already proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite by senior year, along with working with a Wacom tablet, but I refused to get comfortable and kept challenging myself to go farther.

Helping Others Through Covid-19

Through college, atop working part-time at Wawa, I also started my own design business and worked closely with a local business in Kutztown to help restore classic vehicle decals. My business also handled branding for multiple internet personalities and even some advertising for the Wawas in my region.

In my junior year, the COVID-19 pandemic brought the world to a halt, and I needed to adapt. All my classes moved to online learning and I saw the connectivity between students plummet. I knew I could help so I paused my design business and began on a project to help bring students together when they needed it most. I assembled a team and founded the Kutztown University Discord Community, a virtual space hosted on the popular desktop and mobile app, Discord. It started with only 5 people, and now three years later it’s 300+ strong with a peak of 600+ in the height of the lockdowns and growing every day. I accomplished all this while making Honors on the Dean’s List three times.

Ambition

No Task Is Unconquerable

I don’t let a lack of knowledge stop me from doing what needs to be done. In a day I learned engine repair (something I had ZERO experience with) and took a classic 90s sports car from a sputtering mess to a smooth purring road hawk. This applies to my craft too. With every project, I get better. I can’t stop improving. I always want to outdo myself. Stagnation is my enemy.

I know that I am capable of whatever I believe I am. I’ve got hands, eyes, and a brain, the same as the others who can do things.

If they can, I can, and if they can’t, then I’m gonna’ be the first and show em’ how.
